Families of Early Learners
Idaho Head Start is a federal program that believes that every child, regardless of circumstances at birth, has the ability to reach their full potential. Head Start promotes school readiness from birth to age five.
Idaho Public Television offers a variety of resources that support child development and school readiness. This is a resource designed just for parents.
Families of Students in Special Education
The Idaho Department of Education has created a Parent Page with access to support, resources and information on navigating Special Education in Idaho.
The following pocket guides are quick, easy references for parents and guardians to use from the beginning of the Special Education conversation to the actual IEP meeting. They will print small enough to fit in a pocket:

Migrant Families
